Yes, I have been very busy with life and this has taken my time away from my knitting. However, I have managed to finish a few projects. The problem is, I get very attached to the garments once I have knitted them and find it hard to give them away.

I end up with a whole little ‘layette’, and not a baby in sight. Maybe I should keep them for grandchildren, but they may very well have been consumed by moths by then!

I am sure they will be lovely timeless little pieces, and the wool is soft and baby-skin comfortable, but I don’t think keeping them is the right idea. I’ve tried the shop, but that only gave me just the cost of the wool back after the commission.

So, maybe I just keep the pieces and gift them, now and then when I find the right mothers.
